Starlight Glimmer Is Watching You

If you go back to watching the Pt. 2 of Cutie Markless, there are possible references to 1984 and Starlight Glimmer possibly representing Big Brother or O'Brien. The ponies in the village are basically like The Party so yeah XD When Starlight Glimmer was speaking over the intercom I kind of felt like it was a direct reference to the Party's motto:


War is Peace

Freedom is Slavery

Ignorance is Strength


A lot of what Starlight was saying was similar to what this motto is like.
